A beautiful picture book from debut talent Frankie Gritton, about community, kindness, the power of stories - and the amazing things we can build when we come together.
Simon loves books. He loves them so much, he decides to build a house made of books. Simon works hard, stacking book after book, until he has the perfect cosy home - a house made of poems and pictures, stories and songs.
Simon is very happy in his new home - until one day, a neighbour stops by to borrow a book. Before long, everyone wants to borrow a book from Simon - and the little house starts to look a bit wobbly. But when Simon's house made of books comes tumbling down, his friends and neighbours come together to rebuild his home - bigger and stronger than ever before.
